This policy explains what LeadLantern AI collects, how we use it, and how you can delete it. We wrote it in plain language on purpose. If anything is unclear, email us at support@leadlanternai.com.
What we collect
- Account details. Your name, email address, and business name when you sign up.
- Calendar data. When you connect Google or Microsoft, we read your calendar events and free/busy status.
- Email data. When you connect Gmail, we read incoming emails that look like new leads.
- Lead conversations. The texts, emails, and website chats between LeadLantern AI and your customers.
- Usage data. Basic technical logs that keep the service running and secure.
How we use Google user data
If you connect a Google account, we use that data for four things and nothing else:
- We read calendar events and free/busy information to offer open appointment times and book appointments for your customers.
- We create and update calendar events when a customer books or reschedules.
- We read incoming email content only to detect new leads, reply to those leads, and write your daily summary email.
- We send your daily summary email to the address on your account.
LeadLantern AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data storage and retention
Your data is stored on encrypted servers in the United States. We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to delete your data, we delete it within 30 days. Backup copies are removed on the same schedule.
No sale of data
We never sell your data. We never sell your customers' data. We do not share data with third parties except the service providers that run our infrastructure, and they may only use it to provide the service.
No ads and no model training
We do not use Google user data to show you ads. We do not use Google user data to build advertising profiles. We do not use Google user data to train AI models. Calendar and email data is used only to do the booking and reply work you signed up for.
How to disconnect and delete your data
You can disconnect your Google account at any time in the LeadLantern AI settings. You can also remove our access from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Disconnecting stops all future access immediately.
To delete your data, email support@leadlanternai.com from the address on your account. We will confirm and delete your data within 30 days.
